We will be having or WMU Focus Sunday. Come and join as we share our love for our WMU as well receive a blessing from Phyllis Elvington! We will be having lunch following the service.
We will be having our Christmas Play on Sunday, December 13th at 6:30 pm. We will not be having refreshments this year due to COVID. I wanted to take a moment to review how we will make changes so that we remain safe & healthy.
1) Every other pew will be marked as reserved for social distancing and that families sit together. We are also asking to keep outside invites (ie: just immediate family) to a minimum to prevent our sanctuary from being over crowded.
2) Everyone will enter through the front door and we will have someone checking temperatures and providing hand sanitizer.
3) Mask will be used upon each families discretion. We will be wearing them during the play when in close proximity to protect our children and adults.
We appreciate all your help and understanding as we know this year has been a long and different year to say the least! We can't wait to share "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" with all of you!

Come and join us for our Fall Festival on Sunday, October 25th! We will be having Trunk or Treat, Games and Fun Walk!! All activities will be COVID friendly and we will be wearing mask for your protection!

We are tentatively planning on resuming our Sunday School services on the first Sunday in July. We will update with any changes.
Come and join us for a REVIVAL at Center Grove! We are praying for a great movement as Pastor John Porter conducts our services. John has been the pastor at Meherrin Baptist Church since January 2017.
As stated on the Meherrin website:
He challenges the church family to live sacrificially, with our motivation being rooted in what Christ has already done for us through His great sacrifice for all of our sin against God. Knowing this, it is no surprise that one of his favored Bible verses is Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
John and his wife Ashley live in Murfreesboro, NC and have two incredible sons (Caleb and Nathan).
John is a veteran of the U.S. Army and had a career in Computer Technology before being called to pastor in the local church. He has undergraduate degrees in Information Technology and Psychology. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
We invite you to join us for a covered dish dinner prior to the beginning of our Revival services. The church will be providing BBQ and Fried Chicken. Our church family will be providing some of their favorite dishes and desserts! It will be a time of fellowship as we prepare our hearts for revival.
Powellsville Fire Department will be sponsoring their 40th annual BBQ Event! You may eat in or take out! The price is $8/plate or available for $8/pound. You do not want to miss this delicious BBQ!!! If anyone is willing to donate a dessert it is greatly appreciated.

Our WOM will be hosting there monthly meeting at 7:00. All our of women are invited to join us!

Plans are underway to celebrate the most special birthday ever…JESUS! We will be having a fun night of food, games, and devotion! There will be lots of laugh and fellowship while celebrating the true meaning of Christmas!
We will be having a time of personal reflection and testimony as we prepare our hearts for the Thanksgiving holiday. We all have so much to be thankful for and are truly blessed each day. We would love for each of you to share in this time of fellowship with us.

Throughout our explorations and wild encounters we will be learning about Jesus and some real life encounters to make us true believers! So grab your backpack and camera and join us for a wild ride!!
